Grilled Chicken Sandwiches That Won't Make You Say "G'Night"

I love burgers, but a healthier option once in a while won't kill ya. If you're in Southern California, you might want to check out a new Australian "chicken burger" chain called Oporto that recently opened its first U.S. locations near my stomping grounds in Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario, and is about to open another one in Glendale.


The burgers aren't mind-blowing but they're far more interesting than most fast-food grilled chicken sandwiches out there, which tend to put one's tastebuds to sleep.
Their flagship burger is the Triple Bondi, which comes with a chili-pepper sauce. It's still growing on me, but I have to give it credit; how many other chains have successfully done a spicy grilled chicken sandwich? I can't think of any.


I think I like the fries (chips) better than the burgers themselves. (P.S. If you're really hungry, you'll need a double- or triple-decker because the filets are pretty small.)
